TimeSplitters is a first-person shooter developed by Free Radical Design and published by Eidos Interactive. TimeSplitters was a launch title exclusive for the PlayStation 2. The sequels, TimeSplitters 2 and TimeSplitters: Future Perfect also launched on the PS2 but were not exclusive to the system.
A TimeSplitters sequel on future generations of consoles has long been rumoured and speculated over, but nothing has yet been confirmed. In August 2018, THQ Nordic acquired the rights to the TimeSplitters franchise, thus furthering speculation surrounding a TimeSplitters sequel.
